With your Digicel sim you can make and receive calls. You pay a fixed rate per minute to make local and international calls. For international calls there is a set up fee of SRD0,26. It depends how you are charge if you have a certain plan or bundle active. To view the different plans click here. To view the different rates click here.
You are charged when making a local call. E.g. If you make a call of 5 minutes to someone in Suriname with a Digi number or Telesur number then you will pay SRD1.40 *5 = SRD7
If you make an international call to the Netherlands of 5 minutes then you will pay: SRD1.73 *5 = SRD8.65 + set up fee of SRD0,26 = SRD8.91
If you make a call and after a couple of seconds the call got disconnected then one of the possibility is that you have insufficient credit. Digicel works with second billing. If you have SRD0.40 then the call will initiate but will disconnect after a couple of seconds.
